Haryana: Internet Suspension Extended In Nuh; Mahapanchayat By Hindu Samaj Begins At Gurugram

Gurugram: The Haryana government on Sunday extended the suspension of mobile internet services till August 8 in Haryana’s Nuh, where communal clashes broke out on July 31, claiming six lives. The ban on internet services has also been extended in Palwal till August 7, news agency PTI reported.

“Suspension of the mobile internet services, bulk SMS and all dongle services etc provided on mobile networks except the voice calls in the jurisdiction of district Nuh of Haryana State extended up to 8th August 2023,” an official order said. Suspension of SMS services in these two districts has been extended till 5 pm on August 7, it said.

Meanwhile, Mahapanchayat by Hindu Samaj began at Tighar village in Gurugram.

On Sunday, Nuh town continued the demolition of “illegal” structures for the fourth consecutive day with Sahara Hotel, where rioters allegedly pelted stones.
