HMK seeks protection for Hindu outfit leaders

Coimbatore, Sep 20 (PTI) In view of the attacks on someoffice bearers of Hindu outfits in the state, Hindu MakkalKatchi (HMK) today sought protection to its leaders in thedistrict. In a petition to the District Collector, the outfitcited incidents of hurling of bomb on the residence of itspresident, Arjun Sampath and attacks on other leaders, policesaid. Considering the increased attacks on leaders of Hinduoutfits, the authorities should provide protection to HMKleaders, the petition said.
