New Delhi: Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi and the Union Council of Ministers are set to take oath at 7:15 pm on Sunday. Leaders and State heads of neighbouring countries and Indian Ocean region have been invited for PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony as distinguished guests.
Several state heads have already arrived in Delhi for the ceremony. Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived in New Delhi on Sunday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of PM Modi. Bhutan PM Tshering Tobgay has also arrived to attend the ceremony.
Additionally, Prime Minister of Mauritius, Pravind Kumar Jugnauth; President of Maldives, Mohamed Muizzu; Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina; and Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, Ahmed Afif; and Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, have also arrived in Delhi for the swearing-in ceremony.
