Proud of my work in ‘Akira’: Anurag Kashyap

Mumbai, Sep 2 (PTI) Director Anurag Kashyap is proud ofhis role in "Akira" despite his initial reluctance to act. Kashyap has done cameo in films such as "Dev D", "Luck ByChance", "I Am", "Trishna" and "Happy New Year" but theSonakshi Sinha-starrer will see him doing full-fledged negativerole. Thanking AR Murugadoss and Sonakshi for the wonderfulexperience, he tweeted, "I am so proud of my work in#Akira even though I was reluctant to begin with .. Thank you@ARMurugadoss and @sonakshisinha." Kashyap, 43, plays a police officer in the movie. Hefurther praised the director, saying he will always cherishtheir friendship. "Really you are an amazing person and so enthusiastic andchildlike… I cherish this friendship @ARMurugadoss," Kashyaptweeted. PTI SSNBK
