For the first time in the history, the statue of a ‘yogi’ will be made in the Madame Tussauds museum in London and of none other than Baba Ramdev.
Baba Ramdev while expressing happiness and gratitude for the gesture said that the statue would be of him standing in the tree posture or Vrikshasana.
One of the team members of the Madame Tussauds museum stated that for one wax figure, 20 artists work together to complete it.
Ramdev said that it is a matter of pride for him that yoga and spirituality are being globally recognised.
Ramdev’s statute would be seen along with the figure of Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, and many other famous Indians in a fun and interactive zone for audiences.
Earlier on June 22, Ramdev had revealed that he received the proposal for the replica almost two months ago, and after much persuasion, he decided to accept it.
