Sonam Kapoor bats for a biopic on PT Usha

Mumbai, Aug 23 (PTI) Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor todaysaid a biopic should be made on the legendary sprinter PTUsha. The actress was asked if she feels biopic on sportswomenP V Sindhu and Sakshi Malik, who have earned medals at the RioOlympics, should be made and Sonam said before that theinspirational story of PT Usha should be brought on the bigscreen. "I have already done one (biopic) ‘Neerja’. Whatever good(referring to biopic) comes my way I will do that. I thinkbefore making a biopic on them (P V Sindhu and Sakshi Malik)there should be one on P T Usha. I think it will be aninteresting one," Sonam told reporters here at an event. "Films on sports should be encouraged as it inspirespeople. India should also be known for sports," she said. The 31-year-old actress, who was present with Australianswimmer and Olympic medalist Stephanie Rice, was talking atWomen Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition, hosted by the Ladies’ Wing ofthe Indian Merchant Chamber (IMC). The exhibition has a huge range of products from clothesto jewellery, food to personal care and home decor products,among others. "I am happy today women are moving ahead in life anddoing all sorts of work in every field. I think more moneyshould be put in for the education of girls.
