Three held for murder of man

Thane (Maha), Sep 13 (PTI) Thane police today claimedto have solved the murder case of 38-year-old man with thearrest of three persons. "The victim Satish Rasal was found dead in a car onAugust 9 with his throat and neck slit," Deputy Commissionerof Police (Crime) Parag Manere told reporters here. "We got information that Rasal’s cousin Jaideep’swife was missing. After this, we quizzed Jaideep, who thenconfessed the crime," he said. Prime accused Jaideep, his friend Chandan Gaikwad (32)and Parshuram Narayan (75) were arrested yesterday. Narayan isa retired police patil of Valavali village in neighbouringRaigadh district, the official added. Jaideep along with Chandan allegedly stabbed Rasal todeath. Jaideep and Narayan also allegedly destroyed theevidence. A case under section 302 (murder) of IPC wasregistered then and investigations are on, police said. PTICORNRB
