Tirpude welcomes TRS MP Kavitha’s support for Vidarbha

Nagpur, Sep 21 (PTI) Pro-Vidarbha activist RajkumarTirpude has welcomed the support of TRS MP K Kavitha, whofavoured the cause of separate statehood for the region. The Nizamabad MP had publicly declared her support tothe creation of Vidarbha recently citing its cultural andgeographical differences with the rest of Maharashtra. Kavitha had aptly described the geographical andcultural condition of Vidarbha which is a fit case forcreating a separate state, said Tirpude who is one of the mostvocal supporters of separate Vidarbha and floated a newpolitical party called Vidarbha Maza. The MP, who is also the daughter of Telangana ChiefMinister K Chandrasekhar Rao, had also made references to therecommendations made by Fazal Ali Committee in 1956 forcreation of separate Telangana and Vidarbha.
