Vig nabs official on charge of accepting Rs 1 lakh bribe

Patna, Sep 20 (PTI) Vigilance sleuths today arrestedan upper division clerk on graft charge from Bihar’s Arwaldistrict, Vigilance department release said. A Vigilance Investigation Bureau caught an upperdivision clerk Premchandra Tiwari posted with Circle office,Arwal, red handed while he was allegedly accepting a bribe ofRs one lakh. A flying squad team under Deputy Superintendent ofPolice Vijay Kumar Singh raided and caught Tiwari red-handedwhile he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs one lakh fromhis rented accomodation near Block Colony in Arwal. The accused would be produced before a SpecialVigilance Court (I) at Patna after interrogation, therelease said. Altogether 83 persons have been arrested in 76 trapcases laid by the Bureau so far in 2016. PTI AR SUSSUS
