Google celebrates race to win ‘Doodle 4 Google’ this Children’s day

“If I could teach anyone anything”, the winner added the caption “Enjoy Every Moment” to the doodle.

Google is celebrating Children’s Day with a doodle made by Anvita Prashant Telang, an 11-year old from Vibgyor High School, Balewadi, Pune. Anvita is the winner of the eighth ‘Doodle 4 Google’ competition held all across the country.

She wanted to teach something to the common mass. Therefore the doodle represents greeneries, water, water life, balloons, making it a lovely vibrant picture. It shows children enjoying in the greenery and participating in activities like reading, swimming, flying kites, paper airplanes and playing with balloons.

According to the report, Anvita was also quoted saying that;

“In the current stressful times, greatest joys of life are often hidden in simple things, thus I would like to teach everyone to take time to enjoy every moment of life and appreciate the simple things around us” to go with the doodle and the caption.

The competition was held in three groups and the winner for Group 1 includes B. Shirisha from Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Visakhapatnam adding “Indoor Gardening” as the response to the theme. Anvita is the winner for Group 2 and Akashdeep from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Doranda, Ranchi is the winner for Group 3 adding “Water Conservation for A Better Tomorrow” as the answer to the theme.

‘Doodle 4 Google” is organised every year to nurture creativity and thinking in young minds by providing a platform to them for the entire day. The company has successfully held this event for seven years, putting the winning Doodle on the website for one day.
