FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be misleading.

Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, our team found a YouTube video, on the official channel of Deccan Digest, dated July 14, 2021, with a title: Tractor hi Andolan ka sathi hai, Kisan ka tractor hi TANK hai | Farmr Ldr Rakesh Tikait AngrySpeech.

Tikait’s attire in this 20-minute long video matches with the viral clip, and towards the end of the video we see him saying the words that are there in the latter. This indicates that the viral video might be old.

We also came across a news article in ABP Live corroborating that Tikait made similar comments during his speech to the public.

Given that the video has been online since 2021, it cannot be linked to the ongoing farmers’ protest in Delhi. Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post is MISLEADING.
