A video showing lava coming out of a volcano with people running for life is widely circulated on social media. Many users claim that it is a result of the recent earthquakes that shook Iceland.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with following captions:

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be misleading.
Running the video keyframes through a Reverse Image Search, the NM team traced a Reddit post, dated March 30, 2021, published by a user, regian24. The video matches exactly with the viral clip and its location. Given that it was posted in March 2021, it cannot be linked to the recent earthquakes in Iceland.
The same video was also found on the official Instagram handle of Complex Networks — an American media and entertainment company, dated March 25, 2021. So, the viral post has nothing to do with the recent earthquakes in Iceland.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post is misleading.
