An image of a beautiful landscape showing a full moon shining on a well-lit expressway is being widely shared on social media platforms with captions suggesting that it is the Lucknow-Agra expressway.
A Facebook user shared the image with a caption in Hindi that roughly translates to, “Let’s take you to the moon …….. A beautiful picture of Lucknow – Agra Expressway… Long live #Akhilesh_Yadav.”

The image is also doing rounds on Twitter with the same claim.
FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral image and found it to have been shared with a false claim.
With the help of a Reverse Research Search, we found the same image on Photography Reel website. “Landscape photography sun road by argiris karamouzas,” read the caption of the image.
Taking a hint from this and on further checking, we found the same image uploaded on the Facebook page of a photographer named Argiris Karamouzas. The image was uploaded on February 19, 2019, with a caption in Greek that roughly translates to, “Since everyone has uploaded it and it already counts 9,500 thousand likes on my account and over 2,000,000 million and 10,000 notifications in total, I am entitled and as the legal owner of this photo to publish it !!! “Plain of Veria overlooking the road to the moon.” Veria is a city in Greece. The image was also uploaded on the photographer’s Instagram page.
Therefore, it can be concluded that an image from Greece is being falsely shared as that of the Lucknow-Agra Expressway.
