A picture of Bollywood actress and BJP MP Hema Malini is going viral on social media, claiming that the actress flew in a helicopter to harvest crops.
The post reads: “हेलीकॉप्टर से by रोड गेंहू, काटते हुए किसान हेमा मालिनी जी.

NewsMobile fact-checked the post, and found it to be FALSE.
Putting one of the images through a Reverse Image Search, the NM team identified a tweet by herself. And the picture was posted back in 2015 with a caption: “Day 2 of campaigning – leaving frm Patna”
Searching further, we found the second image in a Facebook post by Amar Ujala, dated April 10, 2014.
A Facebook user had also uploaded multiple pictures of the actress cutting crops in 2014.
It should also be noted that the saree in both pictures has different borders indicating that the images were taken at different times. Thus, it can be concluded that the post in circulation is false.
