Performing a Reverse Image Search, the NM team identified several Facebook posts carrying the same viral video in April 2019, claiming that this video was from Siwan in Bihar. These posts claimed that individuals chanting slogans were backers of NDA candidate Kavita Singh and her spouse Ajay Singh, the state president of Hindu Yuva Vahini. Facebook posts indicated that the individuals shouting slogans were members of the Hindu Yuva Vahini.
During an interaction with the media, Ajay Singh refuted any connection between himself, Kavita Singh, and the viral video, asserting that it originated elsewhere and was falsely attributed to them by the opposition.
Further investigation revealed two YouTube videos, dated January 27, 2019, and January 31, 2019, featuring the same viral content.
Though we could not ascertain the exact time and location of the viral video, it is evident that the video dates back to at least 2019 and is not recent.
