FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post, and found it to be fake.
Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, our team identified an Instagram post on a page — Deep End Fitness — dated May 28, 2023. The video matches with the viral clip, wishing Memorial Day to the audience. This indicates that the video is not from India, or linked to India in any way.
Checked the profile further, we found out that Deep End Fitness is based in California, US. The company helps people build everyday resilience, and maximise their performance potential with their hybrid water workouts. There were many other underwater workout videos posted on their page.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show a training session by the Indian Navy, is false.
