FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be misleading.
Upon closely observing the video, we noticed the Nepalese flag which raised our doubts about the claims attached to the video.
We then extracted keyframes of the video using the InVid tool and by putting them through Reverse Image Search, we came across several such videos of ‘Cycle plank balance’ on YouTube. (These videos can be seen here, here and here).
As per the titles and descriptions, the Cycle Plank Balance competition took place in Nepal’s Kapilvastu, a district in the Lumbini province. We found the video in question on YouTube dated December 04, 2023, suggesting that the video is from Kapilvastu.
As per the description, the competition was organised by the Lions Club of Kapilvastu at Rajapani in Nepal and won by Manik Shrestha.
We further found the eligibility criteria for the position of postmaster on the official website of the Indian Post which requires a minimum qualification of “Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English”
Hence, with the above findings, we can conclude that the claim attached to the video in question is false.
