Noticing the flags of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, on some of these fighter jets, our team conducted a Google Keyword Search and found a YouTube video on the official channel of Arab News PK, dated October 8, 2023 and titled: Pakistan Air Force launches 14-nation Indus Shield 2023 exercise with Middle Eastern participation.
According to the video, Pakistan hosted a 14-nation Indus Shield 2023 event to strengthen its defence ties with other countries and display its unparalleled skills and operational capabilities. The event was inaugurated by the Air Vice Marshal of Pakistan, Tariq Mehmood Ghazi.
We came across another YouTube video on the official page of the Pakistan Air Force. The footage in the video from 00:07 to 00:45 matches exactly with the viral clip confirming that it was showing Pakistan’s 14-nation Indus Shield 2023 event.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show that fighter jets from Turkey and Syria have arrived in Iran as a back-up to Palestine, is false.
