FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post and found it to be misleading.

Running a Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes, the NM team spotted a YouTube Video on a channel, PaulVuTV, dated November 1, 2023, with a title: ‘Greedy employee takes from passenger!’ which matches exactly with the viral clip.

Scanning the YouTube channel, our team found the creator making many such scripted videos with his team. The actors in the viral post can be seen playing different roles in other videos.

The creator’s official Instagram handle has also posted many scripted videos.

Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming security staff at the airport were caught stealing money from a passenger’s luggage, is misleading.
