Several social media users have shared the video, claiming that the man is Prabhakar.

To investigate the claim, we traced the viral video’s origins and found a longer version uploaded by Hindustani Media on Instagram on October 23, 2026. In the caption of the video, the man speaking in the clip is identified as Advocate Bhanu Pratap Singh, a Supreme Court advocate.

We also located a YouTube channel belonging to the advocate, featuring multiple videos of the same individual, further corroborating his identity.
Furthermore, we compared photographs of Parakala Prabhakar with the man seen in the viral clip. The facial features of the two individuals do not match, establishing that they are different people.
The viral video does not show Nirmala Sitharaman’s husband, Parakala Prabhakar. The man seen in the clip is Supreme Court advocate Bhanu Pratap Singh, and the video is being shared with a false identity.
