Australia declared their first innings at 559 for nine on the second day of the second Test against New Zealand at the WACA Ground on Saturday.
Opener David Warner topscored for Australia with 253, while Mark Craig took 3-123 for New Zealand.
New Zealand had 40 minutes to bat before tea.
