Fire breaks out in Delhi’s Patparganj Industrial Area; one dead

New Delhi: Fire has broken out at an establishment in Patparganj Industrial Area of East Delhi in the wee hours of Thursday.

As many as 32 fire tenders are present at the spot and firefighters are engaged in the operation to douse the fire.

According to Delhi police, one person has died in the fire incident.

The fire is of “medium” category. “We have declared it as the fire of medium category,” said a fire official. The fire took a toll on one person. As many as 27 fire tenders are struggling to douse the flames, the official said.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
