At least 16 students were gravely injured in a blast which took place in a private school in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. Students of the Falah-i-Millat private school were attending a winter tuition session when the blast took place and they were wounded.

The injured have been hospitalized in Pulwama area and other parts of Srinagar. The condition of all the students is said to be stable now. The police have registered a case. According to local reporters, clashes broke out between security forces and locals post the blast. The situation had to be brought under control by the police by using tear gas.
