Kanhaiya Kumar to file his nomination for Begusarai Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday

Kanhaiya Kumar, CPI candidate, will file his nomination papers on Tuesday, April 9, for the Begusarai Lok Sabha seat in Bihar.

Taking to Twitter on Monday evening, the former president of JNUSU wrote, “Friends, tomorrow, I have to nominate for the Lok Sabha elections. I am not contesting this election alone, but they all stand with me as candidates who are fighting for the rights of the oppressed. It is expected that those who are in Beguarai will take the time to join me on this occasion.”

As per sources, Kanhaiya, who is contesting his first election from the Begusarai Lok Sabha constituency, will be joined by celebrities, Bollywood stars and political activists such as Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Swara Bhaskar and Prakash Raj.

Begusarai will go to poll in the fourth phase of the seven-phase general election on April 29. Results will be announced on May 23.
