Kohli responds to social media backlash, says trolling isn’t for me guys

Responding to trolling on Twitter, Indian caption Virat Kohli said that he’ll ‘stick to getting trolled!’

” I guess trolling isn’t for me guys, I’ll stick to getting trolled! I spoke about how “these Indians” was mentioned in the comment and that’s all. I’m all for freedom of choice. Keep it light guys and enjoy the festive season. Love and peace to all,” he tweeted.


Recently, a video of his went up on his app (Virat Kohli Official App) where he asked a fan to leave the for preferred to watch English and Australian batsmen.

However, his comment did not go well with the Twitterati and Kholi faced a huge backlash on social media.

In the video, Kohli is reading a fan’s message which says ” He (Virat) is an overrated batsman. Nothing seems special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more than these Indians.” responding to this, the caption asks the fan to leave the country.

“I don’t think you should live in India. Go and live somewhere else. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? I don’t mind you not liking me. I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right,” was Kohli’s response to the message.

Commenting on Virat’s statement, Cricket Harsha Bhogle said, “Virat Kohli’s statement is a reflection of the bubble that most famous people either slip into or are forced into.”
