A suspected lady shooter opened fire at people on the campus at the You Tube headquarters in Sun Bruno, California’s here Tuesday. The woman shooter was also found dead due to self–inflicted gunshot wounds.
“On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 12:46 p.m., the San Bruno Police Department received numerous 9-1-1 calls reporting gun fire at the YouTube campus located at 901 Cherry Avenue in San Bruno,” informed the press release by San Bruno police.
Three people who sustained injuries in the firing were rushed to the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and trauma center. According to the hospital sources, “shooting victims included a 36-year-old male in critical condition, a 32-year-old woman in serious condition, and a 27-year-old woman in fair condition.”
Another women present at the shooting place was treated in the hospital for a twisted ankle. Some reports also suggest that the suspected shooter was 35 to 40 years old. This was not a terror related attack. Some domestic related issues was suspected to be behind the shooting.
The employees who initially mistook the noise as earthquake ran out of the building but later they came to know that someone had a gun. Police was evacuating the building for investigations.
Eyewitnesses informed that the lady shooter wore glasses, scarf and she was using a big,huge pistol.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in a note to the employees, “We’re doing everything we can to support them and their families at this time.”
The best information we have is that the situation is contained. We are very actively monitoring and working with local authorities, hospitals, further adds his note.
