Swamy stirs controversy yet again, claims Priyanka ‘beats up people’

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has once again courted controversy after he said that Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is bipolar and that she beats up people.

Swamy told ANI that Priyanka is suffering from a disease that is not appropriate and apt in real life. “She has a disorder of bipolarity. She beats up people. Her ailment does not make her fit to lead a public life. The public should know when she is likely to lose mental balance, ” he said.

Bipolar is a disorder of the brain that that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks.

In this disorder, People can have periods in which they feel overly happy, energized and others where they feel sad, hopeless. In between those periods, they usually feel normal.

Priyanka Gandhi has been on the radar of BJP leaders ever since she was made the Congress general secretary of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Bihar minister Vinod Narayan Jha recently said that votes cannot be won on the basis of beautiful faces. While BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya on Saturday that the Congress doesn’t have leaders and so they are using ‘chocolatey’ faces to fight in  2019 Lok Sabha poll.

However, he later clarified that he has used the term ‘chocolaty’ face for Bollywood actors but did not use it for any political leader.

At the time of the filing of the report, there was no reaction on behalf of Priyanka Gandhi or the Congress to Swamy’s claims. We will update with a reaction, we can not independently substantiate the claims made by Subramanian Swamy.
