Washington: In a tragic incident, six people, including three children, were reportedly killed in a shooting at a private Christian grade school in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday.
Nashville police took to Twitter and added that “An active shooter event has taken place at Covenant School, Covenant Presbyterian Church, on Burton Hills Dr.”

According to ANI quoting police officials, “Deceased shooter is a young female.”
Talking about the incident, the police official added that the “Suspect entered the building through a side door entrance and was confronted on the second floor of the Church and killed by police.”
According to an AFP report, all three children had gunshot wounds from the shooting at the school with about 200 students from preschool through sixth grade.
The report further added that the victims were pronounced dead upon arrival at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.
