A video of Indian Army and Pakistan Army exchanging sweets at the Line of Control (LoC) is doing rounds on social media.
The caption of the video read: ”Indian & Pakistani army exchanged mithai & greetings. no godi media channels has time to show this to the nation. How many newspapers had it on the front page? Drum-beating, chest-thumping Mr 56 will sacrifice any number of lives for political gain before 2024. BEWARE !!!!”

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found the claim attached to it to be FALSE.
We took the keyframes of the video and ran a Reverse Image Search that showed us results from 2015 when the Pakistan army and Indian army exchanged baskets of sweets on 26 January at the Kaman post in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
Hence, the above information proves that Indian Army did exchange sweets with the Pak Army but it is an old video that is now being shared with fresh claims.
