Mumbai: Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has received death threats, following that, a case has been registered against an unknown person by the Mumbai Police under non-cognizable offense on Thursday.
The police confirmed that the actress received a letter in her residence located in Versova. The letter was written in Hindi and was filled with abuses and threatening remarks against Swara’s life.
The letter was written and signed off as “Is desh Ke naujawan (Youth of the country)”. The letter further mentioned that the youth will not tolerate the insults on Veer Savarkar.
Last month, Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan also received a ‘threat letter’.
