Porsche has unveiled the all-new 911 GT2 RS in India with a price tag of Rs 3.88 crore (ex-showroom). The car holds an amazing record of lap time of 6 minutes and 47.3 seconds on Nurburgring Nordschleife, Germany’s famous race track.
The new model is to be unveiled with a double clutch transmission. The Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) has been customised for the GT2 RS and offers special features designed specifically for the track. The intelligence shift in the car enhances the gear shifting, the paddle neutral gives great control over the gears and the fi=unctions are reserved only for the sports edition of Porsche.
“The 911 GT2 RS is the concentration of Porsche’s motorsport expertise into one high-performance model that also masters everyday driving. Despite its superior racing dynamics, this top 911 model is as predictable and reliable to handle as any other Porsche.
