New Delhi: SpiceJet on Sunday announced the operation of a flight from the national capital to Tel Aviv, with a passenger group consisting of 120 Israeli nationals, among others.
SpiceJet is set to conduct its second flight under Operation Ajay, aiming to bring Indians from Israel amid heightened tensions arising from the conflict with the militant group Hamas.
The airline is scheduled to conduct a flight using an A340 aircraft from Delhi to Tel Aviv on Sunday with the return journey planned for Monday morning.
“A group of 120 Israeli nationals, among others, will be travelling from Delhi to Tel Aviv on the SpiceJet flight. SpiceJet’s first evacuation flight from Israel, carrying 320 Indian passengers, touched down in Delhi at 8.10 am today,” the airline said in a statement.
Amidst the Israel-Hamas conflict, Air India and SpiceJet have conducted a total of four flights to and from Tel Aviv since Friday.
