Telangana plans to set up Rs 270 cr leather complex


Hyderabad, Aug 19 (PTI) The Telangana government plans toestablish a Rs 270 crore international leather complex atStation Ghanpur village in Warangal district. Telangana Industries and Commerce Minister K T RamaRao (KTR) met Union Minister of State for Commerce andIndustry Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi today and gave her acopy of the proposal of the complex to be built on 117-acreland. The proposal is prepared by IL&FS Cluster DevelopmentInitiative Limited, an official statement said. KTR, son of state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao,requested the Centre to sanction Rs 105 crore grant under theIndian Leather Development Programme of the Ministry ofCommerce and Industry, it said.
