Spain– Ever since the 1960s and 1970s,Spain has became a popular destination for summer holidays, in fact in 2007, Spain became the second most visited country in the world after France. It has some of the world’s best beaches and cultural attractions. Be it Barcelona, Madrid or Ibiza tourists from around the world flock here for some Spanish delight. Spain is also famous for its festivals and vibrant nightlife.

 

Philippines– The Philippines is composed of 7,107 islands, so there is no dearth of secluded beaches. The country is extremely rich biodiversity and this has been the main tourist attraction of the Philippines. The beaches, mountains, rainforests, islands and diving spots serves as one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. The country’s rich historical and cultural heritages are also one of the well-known attractions of the Philippines.

 

Scotland– Scotland is known for its untarnished scenery, lakes, castles and rich and complex history. The prehistoric stone circles, standing stones and burial chambers, and various Bronze Age, Iron Age and Stone Age remains are some of the popular attractions. There are also many historic castles, houses, and battlegrounds, ruins and museums. People are drawn to the idyllic landscape and culture of Scotland.

 

Greece– Greeks are masters in hospitality because tourism has flourished here since ancient times. One of the cradles of civilization and modern philosophy, Greece has a lot to offer to those that have a taste for history and culture. Elements of Greek mythology, life, culture and food merge to form a divine experience. Tourists visit the ruins of the ancient civilization like the temples dedicated to the various Greek Gods, the museums and just in case, the wonderful Mediterranean coastline lays waiting.

 

Switzerland– Tourism here is largely because of the Swiss Alps and various mountain related activities like skiing, snow-boarding and trekking. The famous mountain of Switzerland, Matterhorn is a challenge for climbers but inviting to the less adventurous as well. The beautiful landscape and breathtaking waterfalls have captivated the imaginations of many writers and poets and continues to do so.
