Disney World has reported that all tickets for its Shanghai branch, which is all set to reopen have sold out for the opening days as well as the weekends.
The branch is expected to reopen on May 11 and tickets upto May 14 have been sold out, according to the entertainment park major as well its vendors such as Fliggy and MeiTuan.

The tickets for the next weekend falling on May 16 and 17 too have been sold out.
However, according to a directive issued by the Chinese government, the facility will only operate with 30% capacity and follow strict physical distancing norms.
Disneyland had shut its Shanghai facility on January 25 and later shut down its other facilities around the world due to the deadly COVID-19 situation.
The Shanghai branch had however, opened up restaurants in the month of March.
Earlier in April, Shanghai cinema theatres too had opened up.
