Los Angeles, Aug 29 (AP) Police said no gunman has beenfound and no shots were fired at Los Angeles InternationalAirport after reports of an active shooter brought a scare tohundreds of travellers. Los Angeles police spokesman Andy Neiman said today thatthe reports were spurred by loud noises only, and police arestill investigating to find the source of them. The reports caused people to pour on to sidewalks and outon to the tarmac at the airport. Later, people could be seen walking back into the airportand flights starting to take off again. Earlier, police said they were searching the terminals andsocial media posts showed many people fleeing Los AngelesInternational Airport amid rumours of a possible shooting. Scores of people could be seen on social media and on TVnews running from the terminal out on to the sidewalks andstreets. (AP)ASK
