Uber tried to charge $28,000 from this woman

Uber prices have recently spiked up. A woman from Philadelphia had been charged way too much for her Uber ride.

Due to some computer glitch, the Uber-Company charged the woman $28,639.14 to be precise, for her ride.

According to Philly.com reports, the woman’s bank blocked the attempted charge because of the high price.

The woman soon received an email from Uber cautioning her that her financial details had been hacked.

Approximately a week later, she received one more email that enlightened her of the major computer error, and that Uber’s team was actively working to find a solution to this problem.

However, according to some reports, there are more people who have witnessed this Uber malfunction. The number is not definite as the company refuses to reveal how many people were affected by the mishap.

In the end, the Philadelphia woman was never asked to pay such a huge sum of $28,639.14.

The Uber-Company ensures that they are trying to fix the issue as fast as they can and that such an error will not occur again.
