Certificates don’t make or break relationships says Pooja

Mumbai: Actor-director Pooja Bhatt is ending her 11-year-old marriage to Munish Makhija. The actress, who married Manish Makhija in 2003, said her split was “amicable”. 

 The 42-year-old actress, who is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt, said she decided to go public with the split as she wanted her fans to know the story from her. 
 

“I choose to live life on MY terms & refuse to perform to the gallery. Certificates don’t make or break marriages & relationships! Life does!,” she tweeted.

 “To all those who care and especially those that don’t, my husband Munna and me have decided to part ways after 11 glorious years of marriage. Our split as some might call it is amicable and we hold each other in the highest esteem for now and forever,” she added
 

“Staggered by the love & support displayed by intimate strangers as well as the silence from most of my friends! Love you all!”, Pooja said.

On the professional front, the actress is busy with her next project “Cabaret”.
