Gurgaon: Six killed, eight injured in truck-auto collision

A collision between a truck and an auto on the Gurgaon-Jhajjar road on Friday morning led to the death of six people, while critically injuring eight others. The accident took place at 6:30 am.

The injured were treated at the Srikrishna Hospital Farukhnagar, while four people were referred to Citizen Hospital, Gurgaon. Sub-divisional Magistrate of Pataudi town, Ravinder Yadav reached the spot immediately to help the victims reach the nearest hospital in Farukhnagar.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the accident. The deceased are reported to be Madhya Pradesh natives.
