Karishma Walia is social media’s new star after she refused a rishta or arranged marriage when the man told that her he didn’t want her dog to be a part of their life.

Snaps of Miss Walia’s WhatsApp chat with her suitor have gone viral on the internet.

When her suitor proposed that her love for the pet could be a ‘phase’ and that she should get her preferences correct,
Karishma texted back: “Having a dog is definitely not a temporary phase. I can’t abandon my dog for anyone.”

“I am sorry to say this. But please marry the dog in that case,” was the response she got from the fellow.

However, after the fellow said Lucy, Walia’s dog would be a challenge for them, she quickly answered and called off the wedding.
