The opposition and many other parties have called for Bharat Bandh today, in the country, against the currency band and demonetisation. Though given the mixed public mood in the country, the Congress, Trinamool Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party said they do not want a strike but will hold protests across the country. The Congress has called it a “Jan Aakrosh Diwas“.
