‘My name has unfortunately not shown up in the voter’s list’, says Varun Dhawan

Date:

Actor Varun Dhawan was not allowed to cast vote in the 2017 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation polls, as his name was missing from the voter list. The ‘Dishoom’ star even urged people to go and vote “as it is very important.”

“My name has unfortunately not shown up in the list. It’s very bizarre because I voted last year,” Varun said as he stepped out of the polling booth.

The star was upset and also said  “I’m going to find out where my name is from the Election Commission.”

Unfortunately, Mr. Humpty Sharma landed in asoup as twitter took a note of his mistake and he got trolled as there were no elections last year.

Later Mr. Badrinath tried to make it up;

Turns out, he shouldn’t have said what he did.
