Sixty Four percent Bihar Board students fail because of strict vigilance

After getting a setback last year because of topper scam, where toppers were unable to answer basic questions, this year the results makes the education system of Bihar look worse because of strict checking.

Reportedly only 36 percent students managed to pass this year’s 12th board exams due to fair and strict checking by the Bihar Secondary Examination Board (BSEB).

Out of 12,40, 168 students who appeared for the 12th board exams, 7,94,622 students failed to clear the exams. It’s a huge deficit in the number of students who passed last year.

This year the science topper secured 86.2 percent, Arts 81.3 percent, and Commerce 81.6 percent.

The vigilance was tight this year to check cheating and bar coding of examination sheets was done along with WhatsApp groups were created to inform if cheating is happening somewhere, according to the reports.
