The 23-year-old son of a Delhi police sub-inspector was arrested on Friday on charges of raping a widow and her 15-year-old daughter repeatedly over a period of three weeks. according to reports, he threatened to leak clips of he acts that he had filmed if they didnt keep quiet. The police have found 10 such video clips on his cellphone, all set inside the Gurgaon house where the 35-year-old woman lived with her daughter and 11-year-old son.

On friday when Ashish Kumar, who was a BA final-year student,began to target her daughter, she couldn’t keep quiet anymore and alerted the police, who then picked up the miscreant from her house.

Having come across the lady at a market in Gurugram’s Rajendra Park 25 days ago, he began to make frequent trips to the her house.
The woman, a native of Uttarakhand, lost her husband last year and works in a private firm. Her daughter is in Class X of a government school.According to reports,she told the police that Kumar and her had talked briefly when they met at the market. Having no reason for suspicion, she had then given him her address , according to the police complaint she has filed. Then began the suffering. Police said Kumar was booked under sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and sections 4 and 12 of the POCSO Act.
