Five persons including two women and a minor were killed after being run over by a truck as they got down from a bus in Banswara district today.
“The victims had alighted from a private bus when the truck hit them,” they said.
The deceased have been identified as Sarla (35), Manju (25) Chiman lal (25), Parshuram (35) and Ashok (9), police said.
“The truck has been seized and an FIR has been lodged against its driver who fled the spot after the accident,” they said, adding the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
