Fraunhofer Institute, which licensed mp3 patents to software developer said, this move is in order to improve the overall quality of the sound in circulation. codec MPEG and AAC formats are a much better format with higher qualities and features, according to a report.
The mp3 was a revolutionary audio format which made music downloadable and shareable but various technical glitches involved with it could not make it comparable to vintage audio platforms such as vinyl.
