Withdraw security of Mirwaiz, stop this barbarism

Date:

The true test of leadership is how leaders react to watershed moments, so just ahead of Eid Mohammed Ayub Pandith a brave police officer was brutally lynched and Mirwaiz didn’t budge, when the officer killed was part of his own security detail.

While strictest punishment needs to be meted to those responsible and stooges of Pakistan who have been encouraging these incidents. While the security is provided by the J&K police the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti should demonstrate courage and tell the J&K police that the security for all separatist leaders should be withdrawn. The problem is that whenever in the past this issue has been discussed the Centre and State government has backed down in order to preserve law and order in case militants target Mirwaiz.

However, enough is enough and in order to keep the morale of our brave security forces both the NDA government at centre and state government should withdraw the security of Mirwaiz
