MS ranks sixth in the list of captain with most ODI appearances, with 159, of which, he has managed to win 88 and has lost 57. With the numbers on his side, he is probably one of the best skippers India could have bargained for. Despite donning so many hats, he has managed to play every role to the best of his possibility.
