Sachin tendulkar has received his Bharat Ratna today. He is the youngest Indian and the first sports person to receive the Bharat Ratna.  Sachin is a Member of Parliament as a nominated member of Rajya Sabha. Here is a quick factoid on the living legend.

  • Sachin tendulkar has a kitty full of records. This is the weirdest one by far. In 1992, he became the first batsman in Tests to be given out by the third umpire.
  • Sachin Tendulkar was a bully in school.
  • Apart from the Bharat Ratna, Tendulkar is the only cricketer to receive all these awards: Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Arjuna Award and Padma Shri.
