Thieves outsmart Modi campaign managers

Date:

Meerut: Smart thieves outsmarted BJP leaders, known for their thinking ‘out of the box’.

The innovative drive, launched to collect funds (Ek Note Kamal Par Vote),                  turned out to be a great shock when five of the 30 collection boxes kept at Meerut’s Shatabdi Nagar Ground during the Modi rally were found broken.

The boxes were kept at different spots on the ground to collect one rupee from each voter. Miscreants damaged the boxes with some blunt object and decamped with about Rs 4,000 collected in each box.
